Here are a few steps you can take:
- Modify your search: Try searching by item description, location, or the name of the company where you may have lost your item. Our search engine algorithm is continuously being improved to help you find your lost property more easily. You can search by item description in multiple languages (Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese) and adjust the website's language setting to your preference.
- Repeat your search over several days: Honest finders or organizations might not be able to register the found object immediately, so it could take a few days for it to appear in the system.
- Lost something at a company not using iLost? Send them an iLost Alert to notify them about your lost item.
iLost Alert
Have you lost your item more than 3 business days ago and still haven't found it back? It could be that you may have lost your item at an organization that is not yet using iLost. In this case you can send an iLost Alert to organizations you have visited to inform them about your loss!
What is an iLost Alert?
- Send an alert to organizations that do not use iLost yet.
- Share your message on social media.
- Create an insurance form easily.
The iLost platform only displays found items. You cannot post lost item reports on the platform.
