How do I remove my item registration from the website?

You can remove your registered item from the website by logging into your iLost account.

Step 1: Log in to your account
Go to the iLost homepage and click “My iLost” in the top right corner.
Enter your email address and password to log in.

Step 2: Open your registered item
Once logged in, go to the “My Items” tab.
Find the item you registered and click the blue button “View item.”

Step 3: Remove the registration
You are now on the item page. Here you can remove the registration by clicking “Remove object.”

If you have already returned the item to its owner, you can also select “I found the owner.”

When item removal is not possible

In some situations, it is no longer possible to delete an item registration. This is due to local legislation, which may allow you to become the legal owner of the item after a certain period of time.

For this reason, the option to delete the registration may be intentionally disabled.
