You can remove your registered object notification from the website by logging into your iLost account. The login window can be found in the upper right corner of the iLost homepage. Enter your e-mail address and then your password.
When you are logged in you will see your found object notification under the tab ''My Items''. Then click on the blue button ''View item''.
You are now on the page of the found object. Here you can remove the object by clicking on ''Remove object''. Have you found the owner of the item? In that case you can also remove the item by clicking on ''I found the owner''.
In certain situations, you can no longer delete an item.
This is due to local legislation under which you may become the legal owner of the registered item after your registration. For that reason, deleting the registration is intentionally disabled. If you still wish to have your item registration removed, please send a message to [email protected].
