Tips for finding your lost item
If you haven’t found your item yet, here are a few things you can try:
1. Adjust your search
Try different keywords, such as the item description, the location where you lost it, or the name of the organisation or company involved. Our search engine is continuously improving to help you find your belongings more easily. You can also search in multiple languages and change the website language to your preference.
2. Check again later
It can take a few days before a found item is registered. Many finders and organisations don’t upload items immediately, so repeating your search over several days can increase your chances.
3. Important to know
iLost only displays found items. It’s not possible to submit a lost item report on the platform.
If your item does not appear online, this unfortunately often means it has not been found. Contacting iLost in this situation will not help, as we are unable to assist further without a registered found item.
