When will my Track & Trace code work?

Updated yesterday

Once you receive a track & trace code, you can be confident that your parcel has been prepared for shipment. This means the finder has confirmed that the package has been handed over (or is ready to be handed over) to the courier. You can follow the delivery progress using the track & trace link provided.

I’ve received a track & trace code, but it’s not working yet

A track & trace code only becomes active after the parcel has been scanned at the courier’s depot. This first scan may take place later in the evening or even the next morning. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active.

It’s been four working days and the track & trace still doesn’t work

There may be several reasons why the tracking has not yet been activated. In most cases, the organization that found your item has not yet processed the parcel for shipment, which means the courier has not collected it yet.

We recommend sending a message to the organization via the item claim conversation window to request an update. Please rest assured that the iLost team monitors all scheduled shipments daily to help ensure smooth delivery. However, please note that iLost depends on the processing time of the organization handling your item.

The track & trace is active, but the status hasn’t changed

Tracking updates are typically not provided during weekends. In most cases, the status will update again on Monday.

If there has been no change in the tracking status after four working days, we recommend contacting the organization that found your item through the item claim conversation window for further clarification.
