You can still cancel your shipment as long as your item has not yet been handed over to the courier by the organization where it was found.
What should you do?
If you would like to cancel your shipment, we recommend contacting the organization that found your item as soon as possible. You can do this in two ways:
Send a message via your claim conversation window
Contact the organization’s customer service directly
Ask them to stop the shipment and not hand over your item to the courier.
What happens next?
Once the organization confirms that your item will not be shipped, please inform iLost customer support by emailing [email protected].
We will then:
Cancel your shipment
Refund the shipping costs you paid
Refund timeline
Refunds are typically processed within 1 to 3 working days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
