How can I have the found item shipped to the owner?

When you match a found item with its legitimate owner, the owner will receive a confirmation of the match via email. In order to send a package through iLost, the owner must request shipping and make a payment for it.

After the owner has entered their address information and paid the shipping fee, a shipment is automatically created. Subsequently, you will receive an email from iLost with a shipping label.

  • Pay attention when preparing the item for shipment. Is it a fragile object? Pack the item in bubble wrap and put it in a box. When you would like to send keys or cards, you can pack these in a secure envelope.

  • Print the shipping label and stick it on the package.

  • Drop the package off at the nearest parcel point of the corresponding courier.
